Nucleus

Nucleus is a platform we developed that is primarily a data store (powered by MongoDB) with secure APIs that expose this data. The data we currently aggregate and expose in Nucleus include events, calendars, locations, people, courses, energy usage and bibliographic data. Nucleus is valuable to us because it allows us to aggregate, recreate and mashup data from existing University services in new and exciting ways. We’re documenting all of our APIs on data.lincoln.ac.uk so that anyone inside, or outside of the University can play with our data.
